Exclusive by design
A short note on why we turn away business — and why that's the point of the whole model.
We said no to a good client last month. They were a strong fit — right size, real budget, a market we know well. The catch: we already work with their closest competitor.
So we declined. In a given market, we take one client and no one else. It costs us revenue regularly, and we do it on purpose.
The reason is simple. There's one leader slot per category, and you can't credibly try to win it for two rivals at once. The moment an agency signs both, it stops trying to make either one the leader and starts trying to keep both mildly happy. Exclusivity removes that conflict entirely: the only way we win is if you do.
It's not a marketing gimmick. It's the constraint that makes "One Client. One Market. One Leader." mean something. If the model ever felt convenient for us, it would be worth less to you.
